Sorting Hat headcanon!!
Nov. 21st, 2012 09:54 amName: Frank Neumann
Age: 6th year
Home: Berlin
Blood Status: Pureblood
- Part of a very very old bloodline that goes back a lot of generations.
- His family are outright supporters of Voldemort and, back when he was the villain of the day, Grindelwald.
- He has two older brothers; the eldest died while fighting for the Death Eaters while the second is in jail for being a Death Eater.
- He also has a twin sister who is very tomboy-ish and much more assertive than he is.
- He was forced to spy on students at Hogwarts by his family for Voldemort. He never received the mark because he was too young.
- One of his spy reports resulted in a student being hospitalized. Frank has never forgiven himself.
- Super mega guilt complex. He still has nightmares.
- Loves sausages, beer and has pet dogs back home.
- He's involved in a lot of student activities and helps others as much as he can. It's how he's trying to redeem himself, but so far it's not helping his guilt.
- He isn't very close to his family. His twin sister shares his views but he's frankly terrified of her.
- He was raised to embrace Pureblood ideals.
- He's the black sheep in his family; he seems to be the most passive and the doormat. His family is also pretty militaristic as well, and nearly all of them are very strong duellists. His father is disappointed in his lack of ambition and his reluctance to fight/injure/kill people.
- Met a muggle Japenese-British girl when he was a child, who likes yaoi and has a penchant for getting nose-bleeds over her slash pairings. The two became secret penpals and by a stroke of luck she received a letter to Hogwarts too. There's definitely attraction between them, but again, family problems.
- Because of his family's reputation for Dark Wizards he doesn't have many friends, so he's actually very clingy to those he currently has. He hides this well, but if there's a moment where it seems he's about to lose someone's friendship he can get pretty desperate.
- He actually confessed to Dumbledore about his role in the War after the student got hospitalized. Dumbledore decided not to report him, but encouraged him to reform his ways.
